Common questions
How do I follow an athlete?
Search for them in Explore and tap Follow, or pick them while setting up the app. They'll appear on Home, in your Schedule and in My Stars. Tap the star to make them a favorite so they show first.
How do alerts work?
Each athlete you follow has alert settings: All updates, Important (game starting, result and availability changes) or Off. Tap the bell on their profile or in My Stars. Alerts are delivered when you're signed in, and as push notifications once you allow them. Quiet hours and the master switch are in Profile → Notifications.
My sign-in code didn't arrive
Check your spam or promotions folder and make sure the email address is spelled correctly. Codes expire after one hour. You can request a new one from the sign-in screen.
Why does an athlete show "No availability data"?
Some competitions don't publish an injury report. STARS never shows "healthy" unless the league's report says so, so an unknown status stays unknown.
An athlete is on the wrong team or a score looks wrong
STARS updates rosters twice a day and scores every few minutes from licensed data providers. If something still looks wrong after a few hours, email us with the details and we'll check it.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything synced to it. Follows saved on your device stay there until you delete the app.
Does STARS show video?
No. Highlight links open YouTube, and news stories open the publisher's site.
